About the The Edwards family Reunion of King William County, Virginia--
"The first reunion of the Edwards Family of King William County, Virginia was held in the Court House, on Saturday, August 24, 1929. Carroll T. Neale, of West Point Virginia, presided at the opening session and introduced Hon. J. D. Mitchell, of Walkerton, Virginia who delivered a short history of the Edwards family. After a most delightful dinner on the grounds, during which "auld acquaintances" met to renew friendships of long standing, the "Edwards Clan" then reassembled and organized. The following officers were reelected: President Everett Edwards of Sweet Hall, Virginia; Secretary Mrs. Stella Edwards Veazey, of West Point, Virginia; Treasurer Mrs. Sue Edwards Rouzie of Palls, Virginia. The annual meetings will be held on the fourth Saturday in August at King William Court House, Virginia."
From the "Tidewater Review", August, 1929.
We have, with the exception of several years during World War II, been meeting once a year since that time.
